Olympics are going pretty well; our boy Sacha netted one to temporarily put the U.S. even with the Netherlands. Though they didn't win, a well played game on the USA's part, don't you think? Stuart Holden might be feeling a little guilty right about now. Or maybe not... i hope not 'cause he played smashingly. The tie was a bit of a let down after the 2 lovely goals and that whole rally of intense play. Ah, well. Nigeria up on Wednesday!
Is anyone else exited for the SuperClasico?! Man, I know we are. I won't be in attendance, but the other 3 are planning on showing; they'll likely be sitting with the Union Ultras (shoutout to those guys; you rock!) Not quite sure if Jonny or Jorge will be starting. They're injured, but listed as probable so it anyone's game. Same for Ante and Galindo... Chivas really seem to be hurting for their core starters i.e. Kljestan, Razov, and Suarez. The team seemed slightly lacking Sat. night versus the Wizards. Second half was good though; Chivas was quicker on the ball and were more creative than in the first half. Totally amazing header by Justin Braun BTW. The kid's getting better and better.Later y'all,
Hannah
